The carport is all done! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Happy Saturday everyone emoticon

UPDATE on my Dream carport that I waited for MONTHS to get emoticon emoticon

emoticon 1st Day = 04/14/21 Thursday I purchased a single-car Carport from Home Depot $899 and they took OFF $100, yeh!!! just for applying for a HD credit card. Went to the bank to withdraw $450 for the installation fee of my Carport by my contractor to be paid when Done.
Contractor came to my house to begin installation and He opens the box and the FRAME to the carport was MISSING... the box ONLY contained the roof panels as I didn't know that the carport came with 3 boxes. We had to go BACK to Home Depot to pick up 2 boxes of Frames. We came back and the Contractor put up the frame then it started RAINING lawrd,

emoticon 2nd day 04/15/17 Friday = I wanted color of the panels changed to WHITE $299 because I didn't like the gray color panels that came WITH the carport. So I gave the Contractor my credit card and he went shopping at 2 two stores to get what I wanted (white panels $299 and blue trim = $117 est.) while I stood home, it was freezing LOL. I voluntarily compensated him by telling him to buy a garage opener on my credit card for him and his family because I did NOT want to pay more cash than $450 to install. THEN he cut the panels TOO SHORT in length to try to accommodate the blue Trim as his goal was to fasten the TRIM to the "frame" and I said no that I didn't like that at all and explained to him clearly, gently but FIRMLY that I need at least 9 inches on EACH end of the carport to ensure my entire car is covered as most cars are 16 feet long and this ground frame is only 15 feet long on the ground and car port ROOF is supposed to be longer in length then the ground of the frame coverage because otherwise the carport is to no avail and I would have spent all this money for nothing .... soooooo the Contractor had to once again go BACK to Home Depot store to get 10 replacement white panels $217. He came back and did some work before it got dark outside.

emoticon Day 3 Saturday 04/17/21 = Contractor arrived 9am and he is working as fast as he can but thoroughly triple measuring EVERYTHING and consulting me along the way and thennnnnn he showed me the DARK SKY APPROACHING and how a winter STORM is coming.. I even took pictures of it with the gray dark clouds coming OUR way as he continued to work. He said he MAY have to continue the project on Sunday IF the weather turns bad. Colorado weather is UNpredictable for sure but we love it here in Colorado... one day its summer and the next day its snowing LOLLLLLLLLL funny but true :-)

its 11:30am and he just took a lunch break... Thank goodness the dark grey skies have NOT hit over our neighborhood Yet... it is still far away but still Visible.

11:59am he returned from lunch... only took a 30 min lunch.. no breaks since 9am
