Morning Sparkies,

A cool morning clear blue sky today, temps cooling for Autumn :)

Another long week for me ... tired... sore... mopey... :) on the up side no need for the computer chair "walker" .

Rested, knitted, ate well restored my soul :)

Hubby used his paper cutter to make me a pattern reader, twenty rows ... each totally different !! It works great and I have completed a lot of rows :)

Started gothic lace cowl

Working on a Zig zag blanket too

One day at a time still sore over site of Shingles though sores are healing up well, haven't been to Beauty or made a meal or done house work for a while.... all this will return in time :)

Thanks for stopping by

Lots of hugs

Christine

    These are lovely!
Yes shingles are tough to get over. I had only a mild case with two major locations and was miserable for weeks with aches and headaches.

It seems we have lost touch and I am sorry about that also sorry to hear you had shingles! ... But you're skills never seize to amaze me and the fact you keep going regardless! ... Housework will always be there to some degree, but your priority is taking care of yourself and getting rested and getting well. Take care.

Good thing you have your knitting and especially your hubby. Between shingles, your fall, and waiting for your procedure this is such a difficult time for you. I think of you often and pray for you daily

Entirely human to be feeling a little mopey at a time like this . . . and you're not moping about your mopiness, you're accepting that with time life will feel more "normal" again.

And while you're waiting as patiently as possible ("patiently" incorporating that Latin word for suffering, yes it does!) you're also being remarkably creative -- taking on that complicated new pattern and making beauty happen.

Till you can see Beauty. And give her a pat and some nice treats!!

    Yeah.

Thanks for your comment on that "privilege" blog -- you went right to the heart of it. Because . . . you practice it. You know.

You continue to amaze me with your skill and your positive approach to a difficult situation.
I remember that when I start to whine about some insignificant annoyance.

Rest and take care of yourself. emoticon

Using your "downtime" well, good for you! With a little help from hubby you're picking up some new knitting skills. The sky's the limit!!

Keep resting and taking it easy as long as you need to.Cooking and cleaning will always be waiting for you when you're ready to get back to them!
