103 hours....

Saturday, May 15, 2021

Time I spent at work the last two weeks. . .

23 hours of over time.

I am physically exhausted, but energetic at the same time.... it's weird.

I love my job, but; it is a job that requires extra time when things are not going right. When we have to implement restrictions, they require a clinician to be present. I'm the lead clinician below my supervisor.... because of that, I'm usually the one who stays. Not because of the punishment, but because a lot of the time the women need to process through the events.

Bonus: I'm hourly, so the pay is great which gives me more money to do things with/for my family. Because of my overtime we have a good bit saved up for our vacation in September.

I've been planning day trips to do with the kids on the weekends, some local, some within an hour or so.... things like National parks, nature reserves, creeks, etc. Get outside play in the natural beauty of the North Eastern part of the country. I'm excited to be able to do these things with them! I'm excited to spend the weekends building memories, not spending money :)

I'm planning my older two's birthday party. (shhhhh... it's a surprise!) we are going to do a camp out for them, probably in the back yard. I'm gonna rent two big 10 person tents (boys and girls.) let them light a fire, eat smores, stay up late, sleep outside.... I'm excited.

I haven't been as active with my tracking the last two weeks because work has taken me out of my routine.... I'm gonna get back to it this week though. I've managed to drop back down to 260 after my medical blah week. Gotta keep the momentum moving. :)

I hope everyone has a blessed weekend!

Way to go. My son also work say past his scheduled times. He works a graveyard shift. Look after yourself when you have downtime.
