The Final Blog?

I've got myself set up at Spark360 and so far I'm less than impressed. Even after the trackers are added it looks to me as if it will be way too 'touchy-feely' for my taste. Guess I should be able to find online trackers to my liking and like-minded social groups to keep me on track. This may even work out as a positive since I spend way too much time on SparkPeople anyway. I want to get down to a point where interfacing with electronics takes less than twenty minutes daily and maybe I'll finally be able to read some of the thousand or so books I've got lying around and even squeeze in more and different exercises.
It was my intention to buy Fit Day PC so that all my data would be on my own hard drive and not dependent on a website. Another case of me dawdling too long as now it's no longer for sale for whatever reason. That's what really slays me... my super-accurate food database will be unplugged in August. Poof! Sounds just like oh so many of those unwanted events in our lives. My old pappy used to tell me.. "Cheer up Son, things could be worse", so I cheered up. Sure enough, they got worse.
So... on that maudlin note, I'll wish all my fellow Sparkers a happy and successful future no matter where you end up. Thanks for over fifteen years of help and support. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org...
Keep calm and carry on! Justin Vernon got credit for first saying it and Kansas put it to music:
"Our lives feel like these epochs, but really, we are dust in the wind."
