Challenge Day 6 and 7: Busy weekend and first goal planning

Yesterday was so busy, I forgot to post! Sundays are the hardest day to get anything done online since I'm usually so busy with the family. It was a great weekend though. I sang in the morning but didn't get home until about noon. We ate lunch and gave Father's day gifts to hubby and my dad. My older daughter was really into it and went crazy decorating the cards and envelopes.

We got them a greatest dad and poppa bear mug for my dad, they loved them! The cards were hilarious as well. My 8-year-old has quite the personality. Hubby fixed the elliptical up with power so now I can actually adjust the settings.



It can get very hard now. Before I was stuck on setting zero. Basically, easy setting. For me, 0 is HARD. I can't imagine going any higher. My daughter said, "Now you'll do great and we can go more fun places!"

Breaks my heart when I hear that. It's not the first time she's said it. She misses all the adventures we used to go on. I want to get back into it. The heat is messing with things now. The only time we'd be able to do it is in the evenings or early mornings. My kids like to sleep in and evenings I'm busy with dinner but I can try and squeeze it into the routine. The hardest part is just getting used to a change. I got comfortable with my cooking routine at night, but I'll try!

This morning I felt lazy and didn't want to get up. I forced myself anyway and headed to the garage. It was already hot outside and didn't feel up to going outdoors so I jumped on the elliptical. At first, I was excited and having fun. Then, I started feeling it and SWEATING! emoticon

But I pushed through it. I went a full 60 minutes because yesterday I only had about 20 minutes of activity (even though I was doing a lot the whole day).

I may have to stick to just 30 because I was exhausted at the end! And that was level zero! yikes!

We also had a family meeting yesterday and finally decided where we're going for our anniversary/family trip. They stated everything will be sanitized and aired out before coming so that's great! We're also bringing tons of sanitizer/Lysol.

It's in 3 weeks so I'm hoping to reach at least 5 lbs lost (more will be welcome emoticon )

    Thanks for the comment on today's countdown blog... 40 pages filled with blogs is a challenge, for sure. I have 247 pages, a total of 3,671 blogs! I am only saving a select few of them... somewhere around 70 or so. I went over to check out your FB group... the link above did not work, but I am persistent, and did a search on FB and found it.

    I'm trying to pace myself and not get over-peopled in this transition, but I'm requesting membership. I figure it's a "trial" membership, for now.

    yes my exercise bike is the same have to go slow and get used to it, Hugs have tons of fun family time whatever you emoticon do
