Start of Something Wonderful

Monday, December 31, 2007

I've gained a majority of the weight that I lost this summer, but a lot of things have changed in a good way.

Things have progressed quite nicely with the guy that I met at my job. The wonderful thing is that he accepts me as I am right now which only makes me feel even better about myself and makes me want to be healthier for myself and for him.

I'm going to go back to my gluten-free eating because every bad symptom has returned - horrible cramps, lethargy, acid reflux, headaches. It's unbelievable!

So what is the plan?

* Logging into SparkPeople at least once a day
* Log my food at least 5 times a week
* Do at least 20 minutes of cardio four times a week

I'm keeping my goals simple and attainable because setting goals too high is the quickest road to failure.

This is the year of success.

Good for you, setting healthy, attainable goals for the new year. You can do it! (By the way, I know just how you feel about the guy you're dating. I am in a similar situation, with a guy who is crazy about me just the way I am; he makes me feel so good about myself, which inspires me to work for a body that LOOKS the way I feel.)

You caught my attention on your home page with the reference to Aaliyah's song (my favorite one from her). The more I read on your page, the more I saw we have in common -- I wasn't as detailed on my page but we like a lot of the same things. If you'd like a Spark Buddy to help with your goals let me know, I'll check in on you REGULARLY :-).
