First there was MySpace...not for you MOM! My son said....then MOM, my daughter admonished, this is for my friends not Mothers!!
Well SPARK is for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I lost 2 pounds my first week. So far so good. What I really like more than anything is getting comments, and sending comments! There is nothing better for me than to see I have messages. I also love new groups too! Like the Under 5'3. Love to read,Native Californian...etc. I think having a class year is also cool. It will be interesting to see how people that joined when I did are doing. Now I need to share something. I have a condition. I am loath to admit it. I'd like you all to think I was 100% perfect. It is called Meinere's disease. It can cause dizziness, and hearing loss. AND is flucuates, so one day you can hear much better than others. I got it 12 years ago, wear two hearing aids..I have managed actors since 1987, it is a cool job, but the majority of it is over the phone. It can be rough on a bad hearing day. So I joined Sparks and someone said you could get any song on UTube! So I did, and I am dancing my head off, and loving it. Music is rarely a part of my life since my hearing loss. But I am hearing these tunes and feeling great!! Anyway on Thursday I had a very dizzy moment. I must of shouted, and my son checked to see it I was alright. It only lasted a minute, but have been laying low since. I I was going for walks with my husband before the dancing. So will do that again. To all my friends where there is snow now I will walk for you! LOL My daughter is enjoying her first winter in New Hampshire at college, and my son's band is also doing well. All and all things are groovy. I had gained about 8 lbs and then lost them, right before I joined ...but somehow I just did not want to see that starting figure. But I do want to realize I am down 10 lbs, and I could have been up those 10 which would have been my top weight in my entire life! I love to read about fellow Sparkers that got reached goal. I love how amazing they look. It really is so stunning. I found this sight from reading People! And I am thrilled I did. Here's week two!! Good luck to one and all!!!!

    Hey Bonnie...
Thanks for posting on my page! I had to laugh at your blog - my Sean said the same thing about MySpace and my daughter about Facebook - so here I am; back where "I" belong!

You're doing GREAT and I'm so glad that I've met you! With us helping each other -- the only thing we can do is "LOSE"! ha!

I've had 4 of my 8 glasses of water today. Actually, I count the ounces - so I've had 32 ozs and have stayed within my calorie range for the past three days.

I need to get my butt in gear with the exercising though. You wouldn't believe the amount of excuses I can come up with!

Hope to hear from you soon!

I'm so proud of you! You are doing beautifully. Meinere's? OK. Now I can accept you as not perfect like the rest of us. I'm so glad you are doing well,

I used to work in a hearing aid clinic for 3 years, nothing to be ashamed about. I am glad they found your problem and that the aids can help towards a more normal life. I was almost deaf as a child myself, but an operations helped me be able to hear better, still have some problems with words that sound simular. Oh, by the way congratulations on your weight loss, and I am glad you have found a place for you.

    Hi Bonnie!
This IS your place, and you are just perfect, hearing aids or no. My best friend is an audiologist, and she has told me about Meinere's. I am sorry it causes you trouble, but you have the attitude to overcome any obstacles you might encounter. You go, girl!
