Hello beautiful people! :) I considered myself to be a relatively fit and healthy person in February 2008 when I visited the Dominican for my cousin's wedding. A month later I started dating my boyfriend and found it very easy to make excuses for missing my workouts. I foolishly believed that I could just stop doing everything and I could maintain my weight and fitness level. My boyfriend has also gained weight since then. This has caused some strain to our relationship as we, or rather I, am not as comfortable or confident in myself as I was then. In addition, I have some chronic shoulder pain that contributed to my decrease in physical activity. After going through a bad month of excruciating pain, my desire to perform any physical activity had basically vanished. However, I recognize that OVERALL the cardio and weight-training that I was doing had helped my condition, combined with massage therapy and physio. Anyhow, I am miserable with my current weight and motivation level and feel as though I've hit my rock bottom. I am going to try to utilize this site as a way of staying on track and sharing with others who are experiencing some of the same challenges. Good luck to all!!!
