Hi everyone! I'm not new to Spark but have just returned after a little over a year given that my weight is slowly creeping up again.

I really need the support. I'm positive and outgoing in all areas of life except my eating and fitness. I'd love to join any groups in the Milwaukee area or sign up for a walking group.

Any support and accountability would be awesome!

These are the steps I took
1.Went to the prescription insurance online and got a list of medications they suggested instead.
2. Searched the programs out there available when you can not afford the medication.
3. Asked the nurses to ask the doctor what she suggested instead of the medication she prescribed.

My life tomorrow will be the result of my attitudes and the choices I make today.

You should go online to Web MD and see if it has a generic form. If it does you can ask you pharmacist or your MD to switch. Sometime your dotor may prefer you to use a name brand for a specific reason. Some people dont know that drug companies also have programs out there that help people pay for their prescriptions when they are very expensive. I work at a hospital and see it all the time. emoticon

I am doing okay but need to get an alternative to a medication because I can not afford Lyrica. emoticon

well hi out there...

lindsey thanks to the email i received i have finally started setting up my page and slowly but surely would like to do all the rest this site has to offer.

i have been on the weight lost wagon since Feb 15th and have been going strong since then not only with my eating but with the working out..and plan to continue and not only until i reach my goal but to do a complete change of lifestyle.

and i'll be a aboard from now on..

cant wait to hear all the success stories all are havin and workouts and tips

Well, you're welcome! I also have been at this a little over two months so I do think that's a significant amount of time to eat healthy! My diet was really bad before, too... Really bad. As far as exercise goes, my advice to you is to find something you love doing and stick to that! Don't try to force yourself to do something you don't want to do. There are tons of great ways to burn fat and tone up :)

Thanks, for stepping up to be our team leader. And, any help that I can give, please, let me know.
Wow, I am felling really good. So far, I have maintained a healthy eating style for over two (2) months. That doesn't sound like much, but, if you knew what my diet was before the last two (2) months, it is nothing short of a miracle.
I need to begin to add some exercise to my program. Last night, I added exercise to my Outlook calendar. I'm just that way.
But, I want to encourage others who may not have the health, energy or motivation to exercise, EAT RIGHT! It will make a substantial difference.
Sparking on!

Lindsey, I am happy to know you are going to be a team leader for Spark Milwaukee! Welcome and I look forward to your motivation......I am anxious for our first challenge. I have never had one for this team! Milwaukee will finally represent! Lets bring it up from being #36 on the leader board....
