Prayers for the llittle furry one. When Tequila was sick, I used a syringe. If the pill was able to be liquified, he'd do it because Tequila wouldn't take pills no matter how I hid it in his treats.

Carbon Copy is on heart meds so I use the pill pockets & they work fine. Good luck with the little one.

Well watched kitty all night his name is Mr. Jingles and he is still not to his old self. I guess the meds the Vet gave is tiring him out. He drank up some water and pretty much slept then I woke him up so he could eat. I had to put the food in my hand for him to eat. He finally ate about 1/8 of cup of food.

This morning I had to carry him to his litter which he did use. I think that is a good sign. He also walked out of the room he was in and went lie in the hallway. Then I had to do it emoticon

I wrapped him up in a towel, put him between my legs, syringe in one hand as I open his mouth with the other. 1,2,3 squeeze the syringe of meds in his mouth. If he could meow, he probably would say YUK.
I sure hope this antibiotics works for him.

And thank you all for caring so much to send a note.

Oh, the poor little thing. I've never heard of a cat having a sore throat. It is tough trying to give a cat medication. It's amazing how they can cough up a pill.

Sorry to hear about your kitty. I'm sure the antibiotics will help. My vet suggested using an eye dropper when I had to give liquid antibiotics. Worked like a charm.

Thanks for your words. The Vet said he should be fine. He is the one that is more livelier than the other cat. Now I have to figure out how am I going to administer his liquid meds.

Oh boy, Oh boy, Oh boy emoticon

My kitty is sick. Just like that, one day fine the next he can't lift his head up. Vet says he has a sore throat and gave him some antibiotics plus some for me to give him at home.

Has anyone kitty experience this? How long before he bounces back? I can't stand to see him this way.
