Friday: Yesterday was a nice day, mostly cloudy and a little cool, but perfect for working outside. Today is sunny and cool Ö before the warm up this weekend!

Had to make a produce run yesterday, but it was done quickly.

Quiet day otherwise. Today Jason has his physical therapy and the weekly Zoom meeting for his consulting business. Good for him as it keeps the mind occupied!

Have to go to Office Depot as his computer mouse died. OH well. The other option is ordering it on-line.

Enjoy your Friday. HUGS

Wednesday: What a day. Jason had a good dental appointment, thankfully.

Clara has to go to court in person. *SIGH** That wonít be til 17 May. Unbelievable. BUT guess they have to be careful that their judgments are right. Disappointing.

Wednesday! Mid-week. Unbelievable.

HUGS

How wonderful to have a Zoom event with Kathrine Switzer. Definitely a powerhouse in the running world.

No rain here, yet, but supposed to have that tomorrow.

Yes, I donít need validation from a man, but its funny they need validation from other men! Ah well.

Having adult kids is interesting. They need you but . . . they donít want to! LOL

Have a good evening.

I am having a great night - we are just finishing up a Zoom event with Kathrine Switzer, who was the first woman to run the Boston marathon in 1967, and instrumental in getting the women's marathon in the Olympics (in 1984!). She is so awesome. Talking about empowering women through running and about increasing diversity in running. It's awesome.

I also picked up a whole load of local grass fed meat today, which also makes me happy. 10lbs of ground beef, 4lbs of strip steaks, and so much more.

On the downside, the rain has hit, but it looks like I'll be able to run in the morning without getting too wet, and most of the rain will be Friday, which is usually my rest day.

As to your story - yeah, men listen to other men! I am always saying things that get ignored, but I know my stuff. Sounds like the kids are doing well, so that's good!

Tuesday: Jasonís PT was interesting. Iíd told him donít be surprised if your therapy is increased to twice/week vs. monthly to work on your posture and abs (core strength). Guess what happened. His therapist (a MALE) said he wants to work w/Jason twice/week to work on posture and core strength. Jas bit hook, line and sinker. So, it soaked in w/the MALE therapist saying it. OH well, as long as he does the work!

Cool day yesterday, so going to do the lawn today. Warmer.

Today is Claraís final divorce hearing. Video vs. in the court room. I think thatís better. She has mixed emotions but Jas and I are grateful. **SIGH**

John was promoted to executive chef and will transfer to the larger restaurant the owner has in Milwaukee. Heís ecstatic and weíre proud of him. He can cook!

Hugs and terrific Tuesday

Well, this afternoon has finally gotten nice again. Yesterday was chilly, although at least sunny. This afternoon was actually warm enough to enjoy. Too bad we expect rain the rest of the week, but at least it will be warmer.

I am definitely counting down to the end, both days and grading/assignments/etc. So much still to finish this week, then next week the students get to finish up most of their stuff. Somewhere in there, I'm also planning for summer classes!

Hello! It has been another busy week, but there are only TWO MORE WEEKS of classes left in the Spring semester. Thank goodness, we're all dying here. Also, it snowed this week, ugh. However, the weather is looking much nicer for this upcoming week. Today, I had Zoom breakfast chat out on my porch, and we were just hanging out there for an after dinner drink. Love getting some sun! I plan to enjoy meetings on the porch next week.

Well, I finally was able to go to my optometrist last week to check on my floater to make sure it wasn't something else. She confirmed that it is a floater and that I don't have to worry about it, but she told me something else. Upon further examination of my eyes, she discovered that the angles in my eyes that cause fluid to drain are quite narrow which can cause glaucoma. So she is sending me to an ophthalmologist to have a glaucoma screening test done. My appointment is set for May 19, after my vacation in Florida.

Prayers requested for a negative test.

Tuesday; Sheesh! Lots of phone calls yesterday.

Had to have a repair man out to re-attach our downspout to the building. The strap holding it in place was gone. He came by around 3 pm. So, that was good.

Have a grooming appt. for Miss Lilly this afternoon. PHEW.

The electric started on one burner of my gas sove isnít firing properly. Have a repair tech coming on Wednesday.

Got PT/OT requests in w/the primary care Dr. Heís going to call back when itís arranged (actually a continuation).

Tried to set up the 6 mth. appointment for Jasí check up @ Mayo. Have to call back in July to do that. So have that on the calendar.

Sister-in-law had a breast biopsy yesterday . **SIGH** Now the wait. Prayers.

That was my day yesterday!

HUGS

Melissa: LOL! Supposed to rain/show here, too. Like you say -- DUDE! Really!?! Gray all day but nothing yet. No complaints. LOL

I got a reasonable amount of things done yesterday, and today I feel generally back to completely functional. I woke up early and got at least an easy run in, and then dragged the dogs out quickly just before it started raining. We're getting rain for a chunk of today and most of tomorrow, and it says we might get snow tomorrow night - dude! But 60s-70s by next week. Well, I knew what living in Upstate NY was going to be like when I moved here.

Glad you enjoyed your meal out, it sure sounds good!

Monday: Well a restful, fun Sunday! WE did meet w/our friends @ the diner and it was FABULOUS! Looking forward to more normal times. I SURE HOPE SO! The owners are just so special! They treated Jason to a breakfast! And it was delicious. The Works Skillet. OMG. Bacon, ham, peppers, onions, asparagus, carrots, peas, shredded cheese and tomatoes all on baby red roasted potatoes with corn bread (OMG, GOOD!) Just lovely.

Well, calls to make today. I can handle that.

Have a marvelous Monday.

Glad Jason did well!

I've had a busy weekend. Got my second shot yesterday, and then ran a half-marathon this morning! I mostly took it easy on the run. I only cared about finishing, which I did.

I feel pretty reasonable, but I am plenty tired, so I'm planning for an early night!

We will pack up and take off. Long drive, but ready to be home.

We have to return in October, and then again in April. No problem! Just have to await the final path report, but the surgeon said ďthereís nothing left of that nodule.Ē Ok, then.

Wednesday was very busy. I went to my optometrist yesterday to check to make sure my eye floater was just a floater and not a torn retina. As suspected it was just a floater. But she had some other news for me. She said that I had a narrow-angle in my eye. A Narrow-angle is a term used to describe the shape of the drainage angle of the eye. She said that narrow angles are more common in people who are farsighted, which I am. She went on to explain that this is because farsighted people have shorter eyes than those who are nearsighted or than those who do not need glasses at all. She also said the narrowness could cause glaucoma, so she is sending me to an ophthalmologist to have a narrow-angle glaucoma evaluation done. Praying that everything will be okay.

Hello! Dude, it has been a busy week. I've had things to do all day AND every evening, and tonight is no exception.

Tomorrow is my partner's 40th birthday! Since it is still a pandemic, we're doing it easy, I invited a few folks over around dinner to hang out outside, although we may be in the garage because it is probably going to rain. Honestly, I think the dogs are going to enjoy this plan the most, because they miss people. He wants pizza, so I'm going to make homemade pizza, but I'm probably not having any because I'm trying to maintain near-carnivore for a few days before getting my 2nd vaccine on Saturday.

It has cooled off again after the rain, but I'm fine with that. We were getting so warm that we were pretty close to being too hot for me, and it's only April! I'm happy with 50s-60s this week. I'll still get outside and catch my sun. The only downside is that it might be a bit rainy for grilling, and I did want to grill. Grilling season is my favorite because I love a good piece of meat without much work to get it ready!

Much easier week in terms of work so far, although I still have a lot to do, but I'm on it.

Happy Sunday! I'm waiting in the space between our tech-run-through for church and for church to actually get started. I do a lot of our music and tech, so I end up being on the computer all morning.

It looks really nice out right now, it was supposed to rain all day, but now it looks like it won't rain until tonight, so that's good. I definitely was hoping to get a run in, and now I can!

Saturday: Zoom breakfast. Decided on take out Ė garden skillet Ė you name the veggie, you name the cheese ( got asparagus, onion, peppers and farmerís cheese) Ė you name the meat (chose corned beef hash) and an egg any style (poached). Perfect. Our friends are doing well. Very excited to get together when we get back from Rochester, the gods willing!

Rainy, gray. Spring.

Melissa: Hope you get lots done this weekend so next week is easier.

Just a heads up -- I will be gone next Tuesday thru Saturday or Sunday for Jas' surgery. HOPE to be home by Saturday, but it all depends on how he's doing.

It was 53 taking the dogs out this morning, woohoo! Unfortunately, I still have to spend a chunk of my day in front of my computer, but I'll get outside a few more times. I'm hoping to get caught up on school stuff this weekend and have an easier week next week so I can see the sun more!

Getting out and enjoying the sunshine yesterday and today! I walked to my chiropractor appointment and back (1.7 miles each way), that was nice.

Still trying to get things done for classes, I've made quite a few videos, but I have to post them and the assignments that go with them!

My poor pug hurt his leg again, and was real gimpy the last few days, but I think he's feeling better this morning. I did a nice 6 mile run this morning, started pre-sun up, and got to see an awesome crescent moon and sunrise.

Been busy again, but that's nothing new. I'm mostly keeping up, more or less. I'm excited that the weather is getting nicer and I'm trying to take some of my meetings outside and getting my vitamin D.

Happy Easter! Not that I do anything much for Easter. I did enjoy the sunshine today and took the pups on some extra walks. Looks like good weather most of this week, and I'm excited for some grilling!
