So glad to hear from you both! I have had a challenging time as well. Valerie -- so very glad to hear from you and sorry about your illness. Meddy Peddy - loved hearing about your daughter and how that motivates you. I think I would give up altogether without the kids!

Maybe the three of us can be connecting here in an intentional way -- I could sure use the support.

After being really sick (and still not fully recovered), I have to restart from scratch... and more.
In 2012, I regained every kilo, plus a few more.

What keeps me motivated?
- My health. I want to be healthy.
- All my trousers were too small; could only wear some of my leggings. I can't go out naked, and can't buy a new wardrobe, I needed to do something! (Two months later after restarting SP, I can now wear again: 1 pair of jeans, 2 pairs of trousers)

Pure fear... emoticon

I do not know if there are any more sparkers that keeps hanging around without progress as I do... that is, concerning weight loss. I am learning a lot of other stuff and making progress in my personal growth so I will have to think that it is getting better although I carry the same kilos as I did when I started - no, not the same I have lost and gained ten of them one or two times...

What keeps me motivated?
Other sparkers stories of success AND failures - even the fact that this team is almost dead remids me that this is not an easy journey, I have to be very patient.
- My daughter that I do want to do a lot of things with but time is running out - she will soon be old enough NOT to want to hang with her mother... but doing a hoop show with her this summer is a strong motivator right now.
Being honest and telling it like it is gives me reflections from other people that helps me to find other solutions to the things that do not work.
All the things I want to do that I need a more slim and fit to conquer

Hey friends.

We've been on this journey for almost 2-1/2 years. I am sure some of us achieved our goals long ago and others (like me) are still working toward our goals. Regardless of whether we are in maintenance or still losing, how do you stay motivated?

Let's share our ideas of what motivates us to keep moving forward.
