You are definitely not alone. When I started the boot camp in June it amazed me that a 5 to 10 min video could whip my bum! After doing it for a month it amazed me that I could do so much more and how much easier a lot of the moves were when I actually had 'muscles' in some places! lol

You WILL get there. Just be patient with your self and yes, one day at a time...

Every day that I hit the gym I think "this is gonna suck, but I can do it." It keeps me going. If I lied to myself and said "this is going to be great" I'd give up for sure. Just tell yourself that it's hard right now, but you can do it. Go you!

Yay for you - you have started - that is the hardest thing! I remember those feelings and how good it is to feel better and be able to do more now. Take it slow and increase your time only when you feel ready. You'll be fine. You did great.

just think when you go to do it again, it will be just a little bit easier. dont' give up on it. take it slow and do what you can. but keep on doing it. maybe instead of trying the boot camps which are hard by the way, maybe take a walk. or dancing.

Hi and welcome......just take it a little slower, maybe try just walking for 10 minutes and slowly build up! Believe......YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

Don't get down on yourself. Keep in mind than no one ever starts out a professional. When you were in grade school, you didn't pick up your very first book and read it cover to cover. The first time you sat down at a keyboard, you didn't type 60wpm. Babies don't just stand up and walk without falling a few times. Everything in life comes at it's own pace. Keep going and I'll bet you'll be amazed that the improvements you make along the way. The goal is to never give up. Good luck!

I've started to get serious about getting in shape (for the millionth time) and it's my first week. I'm supposed to try 10 mins cardio 1x/day. I did my first 10 min workout today using the sparkpeople bootcamp day 1 vid and it was difficult! I really got sweaty and short of breath and now that I've cooled off I'm just thinking about how little that 10 mins was. and how winded it got me. I know I should be proud of myself but I'm just beating myself up for not living up to my own high expectations.
