I am glad you will eat some carbs and dairy after you lose some weight. We need to eat a variety of food to stay healthy. That includes all, fruits, vegetables, proteins, diary and bread. You may limit the amount. We never need cookies, cake or donuts. Try not to deprive yourself or you may crave foods you should not eat. Remember you need to feel full and not hungry. EMSEMAIL hi...for the first 3 weeks I had absolutely no carbs ,no dairy,no fruit etc,only lean meats and green salads which were spinach,kale,romaine and walden farms salad dressing which is fat free,calorie free etc. Then you add to that very gradually but you can eat all the lean meats and proteins you want. and cucumbers etc Research clean eating/paleo living/and protein diets . These methods really work , but they have to be lifetime habits that you learn because when you do this ,when you add carbs ,they will quickly catch back up with you and add weight right back!

PROVERBS31JULIA....and to others who asked for clarification..........breakfast is almost always egg whites cooked with green peppers and chicken (that I constantly prepare ahead and freeze for quick use) a glass of ice water as soon as possible after waking and later an herbal tea /no milk but sweetener! Greens for any salad are usually spinach,kale and romaine with a zero fat/zero calories dressing ,its by Walden Farms. The way this all works is by having little to no carbs in your body so when the body needs energy it has no carbs ,therefore it seeks out the fat for energy! But it also means this is a no dairy,no wheat,no yogurt,not even any fruit allowed for the first 2 - 3 weeks. THen you add small bits of fruit. This is why its important to take a multi-vitamin and perhaps some extra C . I also take some essential fish oils. All of this gives your metabolism a bit of a quick start BUt it is so important to be sure your doctor is on board because it can be hard for some peoples bodies

Well done on finding what works for you. I'm on a very similar plan and like you said...its working.

I will NOT run emotionally from compliments and hide in fat layers for protection.

hi ,its been a long long time since Ive been on here and I finally am having real fat loss! Thank goodness its been a yoyo of a time and a lifetime of bad habits! I am using a high protein ,doctor supervised program and it has changed up my metabolism to finally burn fat away from my body! It feels sooo good! Eat protein with every meal and lots of leafy greens and you will see the fat begin to melt away! No joke ,this works but you do need to be cautious of getting all your nutrients so vitamins are essential ....and doctor supervision is essential as well! Well on my way to be a healthier me after all! blessings to all ,especially to those of you who I used to chat with regularly! emoticon
