Week 3 Day 3 complete! I'm alternating Spark Rookie Running and C25K.

I was very winded during today's session but kept going until the last run. Stopped 18 seconds shy and walked it out (for about 30 seconds), then ran for about 45 seconds during the last walk. I'm a bit nervous about Week 4 too.

I've heard about some people repeating Week 3. I think I might try to start week 4 and if it seems to hard for my body, I'll repeat Week 3 for another week. We need to listen to our bodies (push yes, but listen).

I think the trransition to week 4 will be fine. We've been jogging for 12 minutes for each workout during week 3. Week 4 has us jogging 15 minutes for each workout, which is a pretty gentle increase. We're also doing a shorter workout overall (25 minutes instead of 30), so I think we should be good to go. This is the week where we start to be runners!

I've been modifying the program a little, though, where I'm worried that the transition might be too tough. Basically, I'm adding a week with a gentler transition where I think I might need one. If I were going to add a week at this point, I would start doing the W2R3, but do one less repeat. That would mean a week of doing 20 minute workouts, but keeping the amount of running to 12 minutes per workout.

But you know what? We've been doing 30 minute workouts all week, and I'm guessing we'll just cruise right through the 25 minute workout!

Nothing to worry about, you got it. But remember, if you need to walk an interval or two longer, then go for it.

After W3D2 I wasn't sure I was going to make it, but I finished strong today with Day 3. I'm sooooo nervous about Week 4! What do you mean I'm going to have to run more than I'm walking?? emoticon

Anyone else worried about Week 4?
