HUGE difference in NorCal where I live. the heat of the day sets in the afternoon. I also notice a huge difference like say, if I travel. I went camping in Oregon and could barely finish my normal run because of the altitude change.

Lately runs are harder due to the California fires (smoke).

All sorts of factors. Even down to what you eat or drink before a run can make a difference. You'll get it

It makes a big difference where I live .... the heat is horrible and I would never imagine running in the middle of the afternoon.

I can't say any of this has been easy, but it's do-able. Today I had to put off my "wog" until afternoon, and it killed me. I felt like I was sprinting and just barely covered my 2 miles. Does the time of day make a difference for anyone else or is this all in my head. It's even a nice 74 degrees with a breeze today not the high 80's I've been doing this in.
