finished w3 last night. still going slow on the run to prevent shin splints. as long as I'm going slow I don't have any pain. So it's all good. hoping to start picking the speed back up a little with week 4.

Did w3d2 Saturday managed fine, still just had to go slow on the run. Wanted to do d3 Sunday but that didn't happen. So will shoot for tonight.

Still going strong. Went to gym last night with my son and it went really well. This is the oldest who I never really get to spend time with since he bought a house. So that part was great too.

Week 3 day 1 complete. Legs did not hurt the way I expected them to. Thought I gave myself shin splints last time but I felt the burn but not the pain. So I think I'm good as long as I don't try to go to fast on the runs.

Traveling last weekend, left before 5 am Friday. Was too tired when I got home Saturday to finish, never have time on Sunday so starting week 3 again. Did day 1 again and was about 30 seconds faster than last week. Traveling this weekend as well but not until after I do day 3.

I think that I have to redo week 3. I feel like I cannot move forward yet. I don't want get discouraged and quit. I see others that restart their 3rd week. (So I feel okay with this)

Started Week 3!

We have had gorgeous weather here, but I am still doing treadmill runs for now. I am getting home too late, and I won't run the trails by my house in the dark.

This site is definitely full of inspiration between information, workouts, logs and just knowing others are going through the same issues. It's so much different than reading stories in magazines!

Spring is on the way, with even more inspiration, to get us out there in the sunshine and fresh air!!

Navygirl, I have been experiencing that where I live too... ice under the snow makes it really tricky!! I've stuck to running/walking indoors.

I was doing well, until the past five days. I tried walking on snow covered ice and it wasn't as easy as I thought! Going on vacation Thursday, so don't want to be in an ankle brace! I do like this program and it's easy to follow.

This is the longest that I have stuck with a running plan! Of course it has taken me a few more than 3 weeks to get here, but that is mixed in with volleyball and zumba workouts for me.
