As I was cleaning I came across my tape: Leslie Sansone Walk at home!!!!!

Set it up and off I went (oops barefoot!) I was able to keep up strong for 20 minutes!

Now I need to do this at least every other day --- but I am so fat and out of shape that I better find time to do this every day.

I have not been putting in very many steps in my tracker --- a no - no

I have to -- it's a must!

Marcy- On Friday when I went swimming the water was warm in the pool and the hot tub! It was just a little cool getting out because of the wind. I won't be swimming tomorrow as it will be too cold. Maybe I can convince my male friend to meet me at the gym and we can walk on the track.

walked into the church and out without my walker today.
Did my PT exercises.
Walked into the restaurant and out today.
Walked into Walgreen's and out.
Washed.
Walked into my house w/o the walker and left the walker in the car.
I know that wasn't a lot for you guys but for me it was more than I had done.
Then took a long nap.

One hour of PT for strength, balance and walking. I got 100 twice on balance and she told me to take longer steps. I think I was afraid to but found out I could do it.
Also walked w/o walker about 20 minutes. Wish my spark tracker it says I ordered would arrive. emoticon

When I received my Spark Tracker I started with a small goal of 6000 steps

Yesterday I upgraded it to 7000

6672 for today so far --- looks like I just might make it to goal!!!

I believe having a Fire Drill today helped!!! A long walk away from the building!

Sunday went to early church service. Walked inside with walker and walked around inside with it.
While people were standing I used to sit but now I use my walker and do the PT I can do.
Then walked inside of the restaurant to eat and back out to the car, etc.
Doesn't sound like much but one day it will be more.

Yesterday -- just work steps / home steps ---according to my tracker about 5,000 no good.
But I was tired!!!! and still trying to find the best place to click my tracker!!!!

I WILL to better today --- I WILL at least get 6,000 steps which are my baby steps till I can again reach 8,000 and of course my long time goal of over 10,000 like I used to.

OK Duh. :). Right here, don't know why I needed a "map". I did a dog walk this morning followed by mowing the yard for about 30 minutes (got the front done) then walked another batch of steps every chance I got which has so far added to 9000. I need another thousand before I stop !
Yesterday I did a dog walk, a budokan? workout and then some more various walking until I got to my 10000

Sunday walked 2 miles with my dog. She ran toooo much and could not make it home. The humidity was just to much. I think she go heat excustion. I did not take water but I have learned my lesson my dogs are just toooo big to go walking with me.

Monday walked in the morning 3 mile and 3 miles after work. The day was just so beautiful.

Becky - walking during the test is strenuous - it hurts more cuz it's slow....

We did the same exercise!
2 days in a row for me.

This morning I walked and walked and walked ---- in the classroom that is!

I was a Procter for the 4th grade Benchmark (testing) and had to walk continuously.
Having trouble with my right leg lately and boy did it get a work out!

I walk when I can and will be getting pool time when we arrive in the RGV. Hoping to get lots this winter.
