I wanted a sturdy vehicle that didn't sound like it was coming apart when I closed the

door.

I don't have any problems with

freeway

driving, but models now are a lot bigger (taller.) I was

actually

looking at a couple other makes/models, but got them out of the state

motorpool

for my job. You are right, some models are yuck for visibility out the windows. Others didn't have zip when I drove them. I rented a couple of others for a couple days and tried them out.
i had problems putting my bike on the back. The bike was a real deal breaker for me at the time. The 4

wheel

drive is what won me over. I had a really

steep

driveway, and a couple of them didn't have the clearance to get up them in wet weather. I'm not sure what they would have done in snow!

Yep, she told me that it

really

isn't for

freeway

driving, but otherwise she says it's FUN to drive. They first got a taste for one when we went to Maui and they rented one. Within a few months back home, they bought one. lol

I'll

think about it as it's going to be something I drive for my vehicle. I prefer the

cadillacs

I've had in the past, but I would go for an Impala :) I've become used to (sorta) our

little

Malibu and

appreciate it especially

when it's time to park in a crowded place! Just don't like the

compactness

or blind spots on it :(

Mileage is a lot

better

now than when I bought mine.

Mine is a 98, and they didn't care about mileage back then. My

Jeep

saved my life a couple of times. (One year it was a

deer

magnate.) I also took it out on the

Appalachian

trail to get a

fellow

hiker that sprained his ankle while

goofing

around. We would have had to carry him out because I don't think he could have operated crutches for that far. (I was really grateful there for the 4

wheel

drive.)

Wow! Riding back lastnite from my grandson's

college

graduation in Ames, my daughter

suggested

I get a

jeep

since my husband said we should get a

better

car. The remark

followed

us saying how we don't like the blind spots on this one we just bought new a few years ago. Daughter loves her

jeep, thought I'd like one

too

and was listing all the benefits to me...I didn't ask about mileage tho.

Since I'm a towny, my decision to go is a

little planning

and list making. I have a

Jeep

and the gas mileage sucks. Not as much as 12 miles and a

small

town would on the budget. I remember going to town once a month and stocking up. We had some deliveries, though, and a cow.

Since I live rural, if I have to go to town, or be there (for work),

I'll

organize and shop in-store. But if I don't have to be out, depending on how much more it

costs to shop online, I have to weigh the pros and cons. I live 12 miles from the nearest town

with big stores so that's a bit of gas. emoticon Same when I just have to get a couple

items from the local grocery or in town/city. You know the local guy in the

small

costs more. But it's not worth the gas or time to go to town for just a few things.

That's the thing! A lot of times, things are cheaper in the store than online. I

basically

shop online for convenience - don't have to get

dressed

to go out, drive, buy gas, deal with the people...yada yada. So I'm developing a blind eye to the

Well,

I had a nap today.

Seems

I got

stressed

about

getting

my computer back. They tried to tell me that I didn't have windows 10. When they finally

agreed,

I had to come back after an hour or so. I purchased a new fit bit because I sweated the last one to death. The

Geek

squad agent had to get help installing my new fit bit and making it the primary unit. He spent about 2 hrs with me before we decided to break for lunch. The person who came in at

noon

actually

had the same thing happen when he

hooked his up. He did it in

less

than 10 minutes. Just goes to show you know what you've come

across.

Anyway, it

stressed

me out and I took a nap

me too!

I have been working in the yard and the

creeping charlie

is taking over the back one. They tell me that if I work on it

continually

work on it, it will stop

creeping.

I'm still delighted that it's

pretty

warm around here. It can stay like this all year long and I wouldn't complain!

I was getting so cold to sit still in the mornings that it didn't matter if my

tatty.

as long as it kept me warm!

guess

I could wear a

Ummm. I knew that??? lol!!

Sometimes I just go to zoo for goat loving. Dexter gives

kisses

and loves

getting

his neck scratched. If you

meet

him, just pay

attention

to what else he may be

nibbling

on. One of my coats has a frayed

collar

and munched

zipper!
